THE APPLE NEWTON - Technical Analysis, Inc.
When you hold an Apple Newton, you're holding roughly the equivalent of a full-on 486DX33. Most of that
processing power goes into supporting an interface that's hand-oriented: tapping or handwriting. Some of it goes to
the artificial intelligence in the machine that watches you work and write in order to "learn" your business and
facilitate it. For example, after a while my Newt learned that however I scribble or print t-o-r-i, that refers to my
daughter Victoria, and so it always properly capitalizes and spells her name or finds references to her in my notes,
phonebooks, calendar and so forth.
