Robert Krausz should be no stranger to STOCKS & COMMODITIES readers, as he was interviewed in the September 1995 issue, and he introduced his core concept of analysis with “Dynamic multiple time frames” in the November 1996 issue. In addition, Krausz was featured in Jack Schwager’s New Market Wizards, and he has spoken at seminars throughout the world. The program I just mentioned, called Fibonacci Trader, gives you access to some of his own indicators, both proprietary and nonproprietary, that he personally uses (Figure 1).

Fibonacci Trader has most features available in other applications, as well as special elements that set Fibonacci Trader apart. There are 34 technical indicators, indicators that are common to most programs, as well as 18 unique indicators, the majority designed by Krausz or are only available in Fibonacci Trader (see sidebar, “Indicators”). We’ll be discussing a few of Krausz’s technical indicators in a moment.
