Product Description

Insider TA Pro, Version 3.02 (Stock Blocks, Inc.) Technical analysis and stock trading program emphasizing the use of volume. by John Sweeney

Insider TA is a program focused on using volume information in charts to generate trading signals. In the Pro 3.02 version, Stock Blocks has added a stop-loss/trailing-stop signaling feature, and a scanning function with which you can screen your stock universe using Insider TA’s unique tools, the Volume Analyzer and Box Analyzer. And now, Pro 3.02 can use data directly from the MetaStock and TC 2000 formats.

VOLUME CHARTING

Recall briefly that in Equivolume† charting, the vertical bar on your chart is still the price — in this case, the high and low. The horizontal x-axis, however, is merely a sequence of days, days that get longer on high-volume days and shorter on low-volume days. The resulting chart is a series of rectangular shapes that capture price in their height and volume in their width for each day — thus, boxes.
