Now they’ve taken a step onto that path by providing an add-on module, Expert Design Studio (EDS), that uses a set of built-in functions to create screening criteria and trading systems. EDS comes as a $249 option to TradingExpert (currently offered at a special rate of $695), which is now at the 4.1 version. You get EDS turned on by paying and registering the software by keycode over the phone once it’s installed. The process takes about two minutes. EDS’s emphasis is on screening tradables to identify those that are ready for action. EDS also provides the capability for trading system development and backtesting. The emphasis on screening probably comes from AIQ’s equity focus, the company’s software having for years been famous for its ability to break down and analyze markets, sectors, groups and individual stocks. ... |
