NeuralWare Pro-II has remarkable breadth: network types, transfer functions, monitoring instrumentation and other useful features are all accessible through point-and-click menus. Pro-II/PLUS permits only automatic scaling of data. Another product, DataSculptor, provides a wide variety of data preprocessing tools. The variety is impressive—but its greatest strength may also be its greatest weakness. The package is easy to learn but takes time to master, and you could easily tweak yourself into a corner.
