When it comes to trading, especially in the early part of developing into a trader, there is a tendency to downplay what it takes to operate a trading system well. It looks easy on paper but when it comes to real trading, it’s a different ball game.
We all go through this—the tendency to downplay the amount of work it takes to accomplish something big. It’s as if our mind, at the idea level, thinks it will be much easier than it really is.
