MAKING SENSE OF THE PROGNOSTICATIONS, REVISITED
Okay readers, it’s time for a follow-up to the mental exercise I wrote about for my March 2015 column (which I had composed in January 2015) on the topic of market forecasting.
If you recall from my March 2015 column, I addressed some questions regarding the many sources of stock market predictions. We saw the wide disparity in predictions that various pundits, websites, and other experts were issuing. I will repeat those various predictions here so we can take a look at where we stand, as I write this in mid-May 2015, in relation to those forecasts. Finally, after reviewing these various short-term outcomes, I will offer a few new suggestions, and reiterate some previous advice.
