StockchartsPro, not to be confused with StockCharts.com and their “pro” plans that provide datafeeds, is software you install and use to find patterns that users find profitable. StockchartsPro has a unique style of chart that it calls a grid (Figure 1). Your main interest is in the patterns formed by the red and green squares on the right.
FEATURES
There are three pixel patterns: triangle, pullback, and mini pullback. A triangle pattern is a right triangle. Ideally, a triangle pattern has pixels of one color starting at one corner of the triangle and moving out and down at a 45-degree angle. The difference between an ideal triangle and one found in real life is that the top of the real-life one is often chopped off, and there are probably a few pixels of the opposite color in the body of the triangle. An example of a triangle can be seen in Figure 1.
