Stocks & Commodities V. 26:3 (64-67): Product Review: ChartFilter by Sean Moore
Product Description
Product Review: ChartFilter by Sean Moore
ChartFilter.com provides
charting software and stock
screening at an attractive
price — free! Last reviewed in STOCKS & COMMODITIES in the June
2005 issue, ChartFilter.com hasn’t
changed all that much, with the exception
of upgrades and the added support
of the Macintosh and Linux operating
systems. The biggest change can be
found in the pricing structure. Instead of
the monthly fee that was the norm previously,
the software is now free to use
after an email registration.
After registering with your name,
username, and email address, a password
is sent to your email account. Log
in with your password to get to the main
services window (Figure 1).
ChartFilter.com features two main
products, StockTools and StockScreener.
StockTools is a Java-based charting program,
while StockScreener is a collection
of tools for finding stocks based on
technical and fundamental indicators.
In addition, from the ChartFilter.com
homepage you can access additional
stock screeners and a wealth of technical
analysis educational resources.
