In this most recent version of TradeStation, the one new feature that should be emphasized is the Scanner. It is a new global scanning window that allows the user to scan the universe of US stocks, bonds, forex, indexes, index options, and futures, including those traded on the EUREX.

The scans can be done on any number of variables ranging from price, volume, options-related data, technical indicators (including custom), ShowMe studies, all the way to PaintBar studies. This alone gives you an idea of how extensive and powerful this scanning tool is. Even though there are prebuilt scans, you have the flexibility of creating your own and if you create your own indicators, you can incorporate them as well.
