Stocks & Commodities V. 25:9 (74-75): Product Review: TradeStation 8.3 by Jayanthi Gopalakkrishnan
Product Description
Product Review: TradeStation 8.3 by Jayanthi Gopalakkrishnan
IT'S been a long time since I
last used TradeStation.
The first thought that
crossed my mind when I began to review this product was that
it’s a trading platform on steroids. After
all, look at it: It includes strategy
backtesting and automation on equities,
options, futures, historical and real-time
data, charting analysis, programming
capabilities, easy entry/exit orders,
screening, option analysis, news, research,
and most recently, forex trading
strategies based on interbank spreads. It’s powerful — so much so, in fact,
that the number of features will be
difficult to cover in one review. Because
of that I will focus on the
interface, order entry, and matrix
this time. I’ll cover its application of
forex trading strategies, which is the
latest feature, in the next issue.
