TradeStation — a rulebased trading platform for equities, options, futures, and forex that allows clients to design, backtest, and automatically execute custom trading strategies — has launched its newest version. TradeStation 8.0 integrates direct-access manual and automated options trading to all six options exchanges (AMEX, BOX, CBOE, ISE, PHLX, and PCX) into its already existing stocktrading capabilities; it also adds some new user interfaces. Since TradeStation is an “agency-only” brokerage, they take no payment for order flow. Commissions for equities are as low as $ minimum per trade, with no ticket charges and including all ECN fees; $1 per contract for options; or $2.50 per side for mini futures.
