From "Oex and the Thrust Oscillator" by Stuart Meibuhr: To display the thrust oscillator (TO) in MetaStock, you must have data on advancing issues, advancing volume, declining issues and declining volume. First, create a composite security for advancing issues and advancing volume. You can do this through the file maintenance menu. Select add from the file maintenance menu and choose composite security. Select advancing issues as the first security and advancing volume as the second security. Next, name the composite and select multiplication as the operator. Repeat these steps to create a second composite for declining issues and declining volume.
