I wrote in my last review of a technical trading DVD (David Nassar’s Foundational Analysis) that if there was one trend in technical trading that I was welcoming, it was a trend toward greater simplicity and directness, a movement away from mathematical abstractions of price action and back toward the essentials of the open, high, low, and close.

Spending more than a few hours with Steve Nison’s new DVD series, Steve Nison’s Profiting In Forex, I found myself back in the glow of technical simplicity and efficiency. Nison, who is widely regarded as the leading authority on Japanese candlestick analysis and trading, provides his seminar attendees with a clear understanding of what candlesticks are and are not, what they can and cannot do, and how they can be optimized by adding “Western technicals.”
