Visual System Designer (VSD) does just that and visually, by clicking and dragging. In addition, VSD makes it possible to define patterns using indicators and studies, a unique combination. Once things have been defined — and it only takes a second to drag through some bars you think could be predictive — the program will start to find matching instances throughout the history provided so you can inspect results. If you wish, you can add trading rules to the definition and instruct VSD to backtest them. |
